If you are serious about your writing - whether it's a resume, a college essay, a legal document or a business communication - you should never send off the work without review by a competent second pair of eyes.

You can not proofread your own work. Period. As the writer of the original copy, your eyes tend to overlook mistakes of all kinds.

However tight the deadline, we make sure what we write is never sent to the client without an editor doing a detailed copy edit and offering suggestions for improvement.

Power Quill's professional editors are also available to work on your projects: to correct grammatical errors, proofread and ensure your draft effectively communicates what you want to the reader. Clients can specify Power Quill's editors to follow any of the standard writing style sheets like Chicago or Associated Press.

Pricing

Our price for copy editing work is US$10 per page* subject to a minimum of $20 per order.

(* A typical page is 300-400 words.)

Our Process

1. Client can start the process via the Inquiry Form or by sending an email to info@powerquill.com.

2. We will send a response email within 12 hours requesting you to confirm the order along with an invoice (for a 50% advance).

3. We will begin work as soon as we receive the advance and manuscript.

4. We typically return edited manuscripts in Microsoft Word format using either the "Track Changes" feature (which allows clients to "Accept Changes" with a single click) or the highlight feature (which distinguishes the changes and suggestions visually).

5. For manuscripts that are 10 pages or less, you will receive the edited version within 3 business days of completing Step 4.

6. Based on your needs, we can provide a price quote for a quicker turnaround.
